BBC producers reached out to DRONESURF for an episode of Our Universe "Water" in which they showcased the beauty of our planet to their audiences. The show needed drone shots from one of the channel islands far away from the Los Angeles shore, and only attainable by launching the drone off the boat itself. DRONESURF conducted a lot of safety flights before hand and made sure that the launching and retrieval operation was always saved. The trip consisted of 5-6 days on the boat going back and forth to different locations on the water, trying to spot for the best KELP FOREST. The shots directed from BBC came from the UK division and DRONESURF made sure there shotlist was complete and sent the UK daily reports on the footage.
